David Atlanta Announces Inaugural Academy Awards Viewing Party

David Atlanta brings a bit of Hollywood to Atlanta when it throws its Academy Awards Viewing Party Sunday, February 24th at Ten Atlanta, Midtown’s hottest new restaurant and nightlife spot.

“Film has always played such an important part of my life. The experience of going to the movies and being thoroughly entertained can’t be duplicated,” event organizer Joseph Brownell shared “Having hosted a smaller annual event for several years, I’m so grateful David Atlanta has afforded me the opportunity to take it to larger scale and give back to the community.”

Continuing  David Atlanta’s tradition of giving back to the community, proceeds from the event will benefit Out on Film, Atlanta’s LGBT Film Festival.

“Out On Film is very excited to be partnering with David Atlanta on this event. Everyone loves the Oscars and we can’t wait for a great night, especially within the terrific atmosphere that Ten Atlanta provides,” said Jim Farmer, Out on Film’s Festival Director.
