Fall Forward Cocktails

The weather may be getting cooler and while that probably means a lack of patio drinking, it doesn’t mean we can’t still have our cocktails. Put your bestsip forward with these Fall fashioned cocktails.

Sunday Funday Bloody Mary

1.5 oz. Ketel One Vodka
2.5 oz. bloody mary mix of choice
2 dashes worcestershire sauce
2 pinches pepper
2 dashes hot sauce
1 squeezed lemon
Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker and strain into glass. Garnish with anything you can find! Olives, celery, lemons, limes, etc…

 

The Not So Old-Fashioned

1 oz. Crown Royal Whisky
0.5 oz. amaretto liqueur
0.25 oz. simple syrup
3 dashes bitters
1 piece orange peel
1 dash of cinnamon

Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker and strain into rocks glass. Sip and enjoy!

 

Cinna-gin

2.5 oz. Tanqueray Gin
Half Fresh Green Apple
Cinnamon Stick
2 lemon wedges
.25 oz simple syrup

Muddle the apple and lemon in a cocktail shaker; add gin, simple syrup, ice and shake and strain into martini glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick and lemon wedge.

“Summer Is Always Here” Margarita

1.5 oz. Don Julio Blanco Tequila
.75 oz. Fresh lime juice
.25 oz. Agave nectar
.5 oz. Ginger soda
Sprig of basil
Lemon wheel

Mix all ingredients into a cocktail shaker except basil and lemon, fill with ice, and strain into rocks glass over ice. Stir in lemon wheel and basil to taste.

 

The Grand Marshall

1.5 oz Captain Morgan Silver Spiced Rum
1.5 oz Pineapple juice
1 tsp Grenadine
3-4 drops of Maraschino juice or liqueur

Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice, shake and strain into martini if you are feeling fancy, otherwise a standard rocks glass works perfect. Garnish with cherry and/or orange slice.

 

The Drink For Those With Chest Hair

2 oz Bulleit Bourbon
2 Orange slices
2 Mint sprigs
.25 oz Simple syrup

Lightly muddle the mint, simple syrup and orange slices in a cocktail shaker. Fill with bourbon and ice, shake, and strain. Serve over rocks and garnish with lemon wheel.
