Remember the pet you may have had as a child or may have now and the companionship and love they have unconditionally provided you through the rough times? Well, Pet are Loving Support (P.A.L.S.) provides pet-care including free food and basic veterinary care, and support to the companion pets of senior citizens as well as critically ill and disabled Atlantans.
P.A.L.S. helps people with critical illness or disabilities and the elderly keep their existing pets, despite medical or financial changes brought on by illness. Animals eligible to receive services must be adult animals and live in the home at least two years prior to enrollment.
The organization raises money throughout the year through various charity events and as their annual online auction winds down they are reaching out to you to help.
With great auction items such as health club memberships to Urban Body Works, hair services from Vis-A-Vis Salon and doggy daycare and vaccine packages from various Atlanta businesses, there’s no reason not to log on and help out.
