If you felt the Earth shake or noticed the poles shifting, it was probably because Beyoncé gave birth to her daughter with Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter. ‘Blue’ was inspired by Jay-Z’s album, The Blueprint, while ‘Ivy’ is a play on the Roman numeral for four (IV), which the couple considers to be their lucky number. It’s astounding that even in naming their offspring, their egos still took precedent.

Snoop Dogg was found to be in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in which drug-sniffing dogs were dispatched in Texas. Considering his bus is undoubtedly a traveling cloud of smoke (and the fact it’s freaking Snoop Dogg), were drug dogs really necessary?

Citing a lack of acceptable maternity wear to choose from during her pregnancy, Jessica Simpson plans to launch her own maternity line. Isn’t Jessica’s entire wardrobe, pregnant or not, pretty much maternity wear at this point?

Kirstie Alley says she’s had bad luck dating handsome men, and instead should start dating “butt ugly” guys because she thinks they’d be more “appreciative.” My guess is that Kirstie has only been able to land the hot guys because of that straight guy thing where they all want to fuck a fatty because they think she’ll be more appreciative, so I guess she’s kind of doing the same thing.

Justin Bieber got a tattoo of Jesus on his calf. I’m sure that if Jesus knew 17-year-old pop stars would be tattooing his face on their bodies 2,000 years ago, he’d have stayed in that tomb.

What’s a bigger kick in the balls than getting $100 million in a divorce settlement from your cheating ex-husband? Using that money to flatten an entire $12 million mansion, only to rebuild practically the same house on the same spot. That’s exactly what Elin Nordegren did to the 9,000 square foot, 6 bedroom, 8 bathroom beachfront mansion in North Palm Beach she bought in March. Get it, girl.
