Gay In AmericaThursday October 27th: Scott Pasfield signs ‘Gay In America’ at Outwrite! Photographer Scott Pasfield traveled 54,000 miles across all fifty states over a two-year span gathering stories and documenting the lives of 140 gay men from all walks of life.  Come and here him talk about his journey and some of the fascinating people he met along the way.  7:30pm – 8:30pm,

Friday October 28th:  Kai Lin Art Presents SNAP: a photography exhibition! KAI LIN ART + SHOP proudly announces the grand opening of their 18th exhibit opening during Atlanta Celebrates Photography!  This event will run through December 3rd and showcases the work of several very talented photographers. BedlamFriday October 28th:  BEDLAM Presents WHORified!  Those crazy BEDLAM boys (and girls!) are up to it again with their next installment of crazyness. Get ready for a night that showcases murders, whores, tramps & homicides mixed with blood, gore, music, trannies, gays and straights… put them together and what have you got? Friday October 28th: NFFLA Boo-T-Ball Resurrection: A Benefit for Open Hand!  The NFFLA takes over Opera Nightclub for a great cause, and a scary theme.  Presenting ‘CarnEvil’, the event hosts DJ’s Justin Ryan (NYC) & DJ Chris Griswold, celebrity appearance from Lily White, and will have a costume contest with prizes up to $250! Sunday October 30th:  David Magazine & Brushstrokes JACK-OFF contest!  This “jack-o-lantern- carving contest will help raise money for the M.I.S.T.E.R program, a part of Positive Impact.  Bring your own pumpkin and carving supplies, and the best pumpkins win some amazing prizes!  After party at Felix’s!  Event starts at 4pm in front of Brushstrokes Pleasures.

City HallTuesday November 1st: Mayor Reed’s LGBTQ Town Hall Meeting!  Feel like getting politically involved? Mayor Kasim Reed and APD Chief George Turner will hold a town hall meeting to discuss the cities relationship with the LGBTQ community and the ongoing controversy over the Eagle raid.  They will be taking questions from the public so come prepared!  Located at St. Marks UMC (781 Peachtree St. NE Atlanta, GA 30308) at 7:00pm until 8:30pm.
