When it comes time for Mary Edith Pitts to celebrate her own big day (24, again, right?), she doesn't ask for presents. No, one of our favorite Atlanta personalities shares the love you'd give for her birthday with those in need.

That's how one drag show and the most popular giant booty in Atlanta raised more than $20,000 on Aug. 16 at Burkhart's. It may have been Mary Edith's birthday, but the spoils went to Jerusalem House and the Armorette PWA Fund.

Kudos to you, Ms. Pitts! And many happy returns!
